Finding Space
Kozo, Cheesecloth
84”x33” each panel (height is adjustable)

*Finding Space is an installation about a close investigation on the relationship between an anonymous individual and surrounding space. Cheesecloth panels of floor to ceiling fill the installation space. The lighting casts sketch-like shadows on the wall of figures.  Instead of pulling papers with the fiber, I used the strips of cooked kozo to shape the figures. The installation is about experiencing invisibility within space and about the vulnerability of being anonymous.
